Customer Accounts Hub has now integrated with Fileflare allowing it to show digital downloads to your customers via their customer accounts.
Now, you can completely customise your customer accounts using Customer Accounts Hub while delivering digital products.
What do I need?
To enable digital downloads in your Shopify customer accounts using CustomerHub, you will need to have both of these:
- Fileflare Shopify app (Premium plan) Already installed? Upgrade here.
- Customer Accounts Hub Shopify app
How to enable customer account downloads in Fileflare
1. Install the app
Go to the Shopify app store and install Fileflare.
2. Enable customer account downloads
- Go to “Settings”
- Go to “Checkout settings”
- Enable the setting in the red box below
- Click “Save”
After you have done this, you will need to follow the steps below.
How do I enable digital downloads in CustomerHub?
There are two methods you can use for this integration:
- Method 1: “View all downloads” link to place anywhere you want
- Method 2: Order page downloads on the individual order page
Method 1 – Add a “View all downloads” link
1. Go to CustomerHub and create a custom menu link
- Go to CustomerHub
- Click “Customize”
- Scroll down to “Build your Account Menu”
- Click “Custom Link”
2. Add the URL
Add the name of the custom menu icon. For example, call it “Access downloads”.
Then you can use the below link:
/apps/digital-downloadsWhen customers click on this menu icon in their accounts, it links to a download page where all of the customer’s downloads from all of their orders are displayed.
Method 2 – Order page downloads
1. Install CustomerHub if you haven’t already
Go to the Shopify app store and install the Customer Accounts Hub Shopify app if you haven’t already.
2. Go to “PowerUps”
3. Find Fileflare & click “PowerUp”
4. Enable Fileflare & click “Save”
5. All done & ready to test
Now you can log in to your test customer account on your store and go to an order page to see the downloads located there.
The download box will take the same styling as you have on your page. Here is an example:
